Chili Sausage Supper

Quick and hearty, this one pan stove top creation will warm away the winter blues.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can OUR FAMILY Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp chili powder

Directions:

  1. In large skillet cook and stir meat, onion and green pepper until sausage is brown and onion is tender; drain.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer 3-5 minutes.

Serves 4-6

Side Dish Ideas:

  • Corn bread muffins or thick-sliced french bread
  • Simple spinach salad
  • Fresh seasonal fruit
